Fundraising

It would be impossible to provide all our services without the generous support of our community.  There are many ways that you can give, even a small amount.

Local businesses have always been an essential component of WPESA's annual fundraising efforts.  In exchange for its generosity, businesses are offered substantial advertising opportunities to our members, community partners and supporters.  If your business is interested in learning more about these exciting opportunities, please review our Sponsorship Program or contact our Chairperson.

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you.  Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to WPESA. You use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.

On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), you need to select a West Patent Elementary School Association.  With each eligible purchase, AmazonSmile will donate 0.5%  to WPESA.  AmazonSmile can now be activated in the app, as well.  AmazonSmile is available for Amazon customers with the latest version of the Amazon Shopping app on their mobile phone, including Android devices with version 7.0+ or iOS devices with version 12+. To activate AmazonSmile in the Amazon Shopping app, simply tap on “AmazonSmile” within the Programs & Features menu or Settings and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Buy participating products and use the Box Tops app to scan your store receipt. The app identifies eligible products and earnings are credited to your designated school online. Even if you’re shopping online or doing grocery pickup, you can still submit your digital or email receipt with the Box Tops app and earn. Twice a year, our school gets a check!
